George Kiko has been named the 2025 Louisville Citizen of the Year by the Louisville Rotary Club.
The award recognizes individuals who embody the Rotary motto “Service Above Self” through exceptional community contributions.

“I was surprised and honored to receive this award,” said George Kiko. “My wife and daughter did a great job keeping it secret! I’m very proud of Louisville and humbled to serve the community. Our family has grown here and we are very blessed.”
George, a 3rd generation auctioneer and realtor with KIKO Realtors, Auctioneers & Advisors since 1991, has served the Louisville community for decades through leadership on transformational projects and volunteer commitment.
- As township trustee, George championed a long-overdue project to address the deteriorating mausoleum at the Union Cemetery.
- He spearheaded fundraising efforts and ensured a safe walking path was built between the Louisville Middle School, High School and YMCA
- George has supported the Louisville YMCA for over 20 years, service on its Board of Directors
